Grandparents' Day
To acknowledge the great work that grandparents do, and the important role that they play in the lives of their grandchildren; the school hosts Grandparents' Day in First Class.
After enjoying some light refreshments, our grandparents visit the girls in their classroom.
Games such as Draughts, cards and Snakes and Ladders are played. The children ask questions on various topics and find out so much about their grandparents' lives when they were young, and the differences to life as a child today. The children sing and play their tin whistles.
Grandparents' Day is always an exciting, enjoyable and memorable day for the children and their grandparents!
