Room 5 work for 27/4/20

26th Apr 2020

Hello Girls,

It was great to talk to you and your parents this week. I’m delighted to hear that you are all well and keeping in touch with your schoolwork. I was delighted to hear that most of you have your books at home. That makes it a bit easier to get the work done. It’s very important that you keep a routine going and that you balance the schoolwork with some play and exercise.

Here is the work for this week. Remember, don’t worry if you have trouble accessing the internet. Just do your best.

One maths challenge each day.

Keep learning your tables-pick a column yourself and focus on it for this week.

ART:

Draw or paint a rainbow in a garden scene.-your actual garden would be great

If you like you can also make a model of your ideal imaginary garden. If you google diorama examples images results.   https://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=diorama+examples+gardens&fr=yhs-dcola-005&hspart=dcola&hsimp=yhs-

It will give you some ideas about how to do it. You will need a shoe box or a shoe box lid. Try to use as many natural materials as possible from your garden, like small stones, grass, daisies…

SCIENCE:

Look at this powerpoint on minibeasts. Go on a minibeast hunt in your own garden and see what you can find. Remember to respect all living things and cause no harm. Simply observe their habitat. Record your results in your copy.

Take care of yourselves and your families.
