Walk to School Day

May 11th to May 15th was National Walk to School Week. Schools all over Ireland participated in Walk to School Week by organising activities to raise awareness of the benefits of walking to school. 

Our Green School Committee organised a very successful walk to school day on Friday May 15th. Pupils, teachers and parents congregated in Buckley's Carpark beside the Cashel Palace Hotel, before walking to school via. Main Street, Friar Street, the Green and the Old Rd. 

It was a great to see so many teachers, pupils and parents walking to school and showing their support for a greener, healthier environment.
