6th class undertook their local history trail to Hore Abbey this month. Here we enjoyed walking around the ruins of the Abbey looking at stone masons marks, the remnants of the cloisters and its many more beautiful features. This gave us a first-hand experience of what life was like in a monastery for the monks that lived there.
