Our U11B camogie team missed out on a county final place when they were narrowly beaten in a camogie blitz in Holycross on Thursday May 21st.
The girls accompanied by Miss. Whelan and Pauric Murray their trainer played four matches against Ballycahill, Holycross, New Inn and Templemore.
The team played well across the board and secured three victories however, they missed out on a place in the final in Semple Stadium having lost one game by a single point.
The scores were as follows:
Cashel G.P.S. 1-3 Ballycahill 0-0
Cashel G.P.S. 1-0 Holycross 0-0
Cashel G.P.S. 1-0 New Inn 1-1
Cashel G.P.S. 2-0 Templemore 1-0
Each and every member of the team worked hard to gain posession. They made their teachers, trainer, supporters very proud and of course their school very proud!
