Our U11 team took part in the gaelic football blitz in Leahy Park today.
They were narrowly beaten by St. Olivers, Clonmel in their first match but went on to beat Templemore in their second match. This put the team through to the final of the blitz again against Templemore.
The final was very exciting and Templemore eventualy went on to win in very evenly matched game.
This was the first ever gaelic football match for so many of the girls and there were so many outstanding performances on the day. There is no doubt that this was the first of many finals for these girls!
