Senior Infants went for a visit to Cashel Library on Friday morning. Everyone was excited about the trip and they had fun guessing where we might be going. They were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the walk to the library.
When the girls reached the library, Suzanne explained how they could become members of the library. She then read them a couple of stories. They especially loved taking an active role in 'The Gingerbread Man'. Everyone then got a chance to browse through the numerous books available to borrow. The girls in Senior Infants were well impressed with the library.
When everyone returned to school, they discussed the role of the librarian and drew a map of their journey to the library.
