St. John's Cathedral
17th Mar 2018
On March 16th, 6th class visited St. John’s Cathedral in Cashel as part of their local history curriculum. There they looked at the cathedrals history on the Rock of Cashel to the present day building on John’s street. We had a wonderful look around the cathedral and all the architectural features there. We also saw the Bolton library which used to house the smallest book in the world, as well as investigating the original town wall and the Hackett effigies. Thanks to Michael Moore who let us in and Jan who came with us on the day.
