The girls in Room 8 really enjoyed all the activities organised for the recent Seachtain na Gaeilge. On the La Gaelach they enjoyed dressing up in green, white and gold and taking part in activities including a trath na gceist & ceili. Mrs. Kenney organised an art competition for every class; fifth class had to illustrate a seanfhocal while fourth class had to illustrate a rabhlog. The girls also enjoyed speaking as gaeilge and those who made the greatest effort to speak as gaeilge were presented with certificates.
