School Work for Miss Ryan's 5th :) (18th- 22nd May)
Hi girls,
I hope you’ve all had another lovely week! I hope you’ve continued to work hard, help out at home, play outside in the good weather, be creative and make the most of family time.
I’m loving getting all your emails and pictures. Check out the pictures I’ve received from some of you this week. If you haven’t sent me an email yet, I’d love to hear from you, even if it’s just a one or two line email to let me know how you are and how you’re finding the work. My email again is amyryancashelgirls@gmail.com .
You’ll see that this week I’ve set a project for you on a person you admire or someone who has made a difference in the world. You can choose any person you like, from the past or the present, and if you’re unsure who you’d like to research, activists, inventors, scientists, authors or artists might be a good place to start. You’ll have the next two weeks to work on this. Please present this as you would normally present a project; handwriting, titles and drawings are all important.
I hope that you’ve all had a chance to watch the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and I hope that you enjoyed it. There are three more chapters available to watch now. I’ve watched them and really enjoyed them, they’re very well read. Some of your brothers and sisters might enjoy watching these with you!
This week we’ve decided that we’re going to create a time capsule to mark this extraordinary time. 5th and 6th class are being asked to complete some activities which will go into this time capsule, your letter to your future self being one of those activities. We'll collect these activities at the end of June. Please put some time and effort into this, you want to be proud of your work when you see it again in 10 years time!!
Don't forget about the photo challenge from last week! Get your photos in by 22nd May.
Sending my best to you and your families.
Take care girls,
Miss Amy Ryan.
