Room 6 1st Class "Virtual Tour and Memory Week" 8th to 12th June.
Hola girls!
Remember how to say hi in Spanish?
I’m hoping that you are all very well and very relaxed after your Wellness Week last week. It really made me very happy seeing photos of Love poems, Worry Lorries, Mindful colouring, nature bracelets and yummy baked creations! Well done I’m very proud!
Summer has really arrived with lovely warm weather (even though it was a little bit chilly over last few days!), shorts, t-shirts, flipflops, long evenings and everything all around is blooming and bursting with life. Great times to be out and about.
This week we are having Tour and Memory Week. Have a look at virtual tours on the links below to see and learn about the animals and complete some of the activities and sheets from your envelope. I have also included some photos of How To Draw Animals below if you want to give some of them a go! Remember we did one when you drew the cows?
Enjoy investigating minibeasts/bugs and doing the fun things included for them.
Enjoy a picnic and finally have a trip down memory lane, remembering all the great things you did and enjoyed when you were in 1st class room 6. If you find it hard to remember look back at some of the photos I posted since September to jog your memory.
I will be busy this week in school getting all your lovely art, folders, copies etc. together in bundles for you. I will hold on to your tin whistle, music copy and dictionary for you for September. Don’t forget to keep your Jolly Phonics, diary cover and Rubbish Monster to give back to me for September. You can put them in a bag with your name on them and hopefully we will get to swap over bundles the following week. Mrs. Andrews will be in touch about all of this.
If your parents want you to continue with some English, Maths or other subjects that’s great but there’s no pressure to do so.
Have a really fun week. Email me lots of photos of what you get up to on your Safari, Minibeast Hunt, picnic and memory activities.
Miss you,
Lots of love and enormous hugs,
Ms.Maggie O’Brien. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It could be something new that you learned, some art that you did, a subject that you loved, a song, a dance, a story, the show, an activity we did outside, a friend you sat with, a game you played………..
It might be hard for you to remember things at first but close your eyes and be still for a while and memories will come trickling in or flooding in!!!! I don’t want to name specific things because I want you to remember for yourself. When you are happy you have four draw, colour, decorate and label.
