·         I would now ask you to pick two spellings of your choice from each box and put them in a sentence each day. Use adjectives/nouns/colourful language etc in your sentences.

This is a fictional Japanese poem that has three lines and doesn’t rhyme.

First line has 5 syllables.                     Blowing through the wind.

Second line has 7 syllables.                A strong, worn, thorny tree stands.

Third line has 5 syllables.                    Two hundred years old.

Your themes for this week is to compose a poem based on your experience of Covid 19 & a second poem based on Friends.. I can’t wait to see your masterpieces when you share them next week. Decorate the page based on the theme.

There is also a poetry competition on the website this week that Mrs. Kealy posted. It might be fun to enter this.
