Room 10 assignments for April 27th- 1st May 2020
Maths. · This week we are going to cover the topic of MONEY (buying and selling goods) p 131 & 132 PM 6 and converting money into currencies from other countries p134 PM 6 .When we have euros and want to convert it to another currency, we always multiply the amount of euro we have by the exchange rate. · ( Quick tip to remember what to do: when we are going on holidays we want as much money as possible to spend. So think this, we have euros and want to multiply to get as much foreign currency to spend on holidays in that country. Multiply the euros by the foreign exchange rate. However, when coming home from holidays we have a smaller amount of foreign currency. So we convert our foreign currency to euro by dividing by the foreign exchange rate) Try these out and see how you get on. · Maths Challenge ( one to be done each day.) I will post the answers to test 48-62 · Tables x12 and ÷12 · www.topmarks.co.uk is a good website to go to practise maths. Find your topic and age group.
