National Flag for primary schools iniative.

As part of the National Flag for primary schools initiative Private Helen O'Dwyer and Sergt. Jim Redden, from 12th Battalion, Sarsfield Barracks, Limerick presented the school with a tricolour and two copies of the 1916 Proclamation of Independence, one in English and one in Irish, at a special ceremony held in the school. 

Private O'Dwyer is a former past pupil of our school.
