How's it Going 1st Room 6?
Hi lovely girls!
I am missing you all!
I hope you had a lovely Easter and ate lots of yummy chocolate! I got an Easter egg too and I still have some left!
We are so lucky to have had such lovely, sunny weather for our holidays. I’m sure you have been out in it, playing, walking, running, cycling, scooting, roller-skating, skipping, playing hopscotch, gardening, looking at all the signs of spring, listening to the beautiful birds singing, having some “quiet time“ and lots of other fun things.
I’ve been walking, cycling, dancing, taking photographs of nature in spring, lying on the grass by the river watching the clouds and listening to the sounds of nature, painting and whitewashing the house, gardening, writing, listening to lots of music and podcasts and doing lots of cooking and baking.
Did you see the spectacular Pink Supermoon 7th/8th April? Wow it was amazing!
I have also been very busy getting activities ready for you for the next few weeks because you are going to be at home for another while.
I know it is hard when you are not in school. You want to see your friends, play in the yard together, tell your news, share your stories, learn new things from your teacher, get help when you need it, work in groups and help one another, but we will all be back together again, we just need to stay happy and be patient.
Keep doing your diaries/news with pictures and we will have so much to share when we get to see one another. Don’t forget to use your diary for your feelings...“YES” and “NO” feelings, and remember the “5 people I can talk to” on your fingers!! “Talk to” can also be a letter, facetime, phone-call or whatever way your parents have for you to keep in contact with your loved ones. Keep the worry bag empty and your buckets full!
This is a really special time for you to show your family how good you are at reading, writing and maths and show how good you are at being able to work by yourself. You can show them how grown up you are because you can sit quietly and happily and enjoy doing schoolwork at home. Just do the best you can. I’m so, so, so proud of you!
REMEMBER: Do what you can do and do what your parents are happy for you to do.
You do not have to do everything. Get lots of exercise and KEEP DANCING!!
I am including the link to The Huge Bag Of Worries here for you to listen to.

Stay safe and happy,
Talk soon,
Lots of love and hugs,
