On the 16th February, the girls in 1st class were very excited to welcome their grandparents to school for Grandparents Day ! After tea and treats in the Halla, the children had the opportunity to play some games with their grandparents while asking them about life 'in the old days.' Later, the girls performed a song and poem and played their tin whistles. The morning was not complete without a visit to the classrooms where the girls enjoyed showing their grannies and grandads their lovely work and how to use the interactive whiteboards! The day was enjoyed by one and all and great memories were made. Thank you to all who were able to participate on the day.
