We had great fun in 1st class in November doing lots of activities for Global Citizenship.
We learned lots of fun facts about China.We learned about the Panda and learned so much about what it means to be a good citizen.
We played with tangrams and made tangram art. The girls enjoyed listening to the story of the willow pattern and they made their own willow pattern plates. Everyone had a go at writing their names using chinese writing and they made beautiful chinese lanterns. The girls were terrific at learning how to sing in mandarin and perform their chinese dance.
We made a garden of good citizen acts and enjoyed watching Simon Says videos which is teaching us all about global citizenship and how we can make the world a better place.
