Congratulations to all the girls in our school who received the sacrament of First Holy Communion in the parish church today.
The ceremony was celebrated by Fr. Tom Hearne. It was a beautiful ceremony and all of the girls performing their jobs with great reverence. The choir on the day was made up of pupils from 5th & 6th class & it was conducted by Mrs. Mary Andrews.
Thank you to Mrs. McGlinchey & Mrs. Power who prepared the girls so well for the occasion. Thanks also to Mrs. Coffey, Mrs. Laffey, Mrs. O’Keeffe & Mr. Halley who helped with preparations for the big day.
