Fair Trade.

12th Feb 2017

As part of the 6th class S.P.H.E . and  R.E. programmes  the girls learned  first-hand  what it is like to be a farmer in the developing world.

Some of the children were farmers trying to eke out a living on their farms while others were the banks, local councils and co-operatives.

The children  saw  the inequalities, social injustices, environmental and power struggles suffered by farmers in the developing countries daily. This really hit home to all of us how important it is to buy Fair Trade products and support farmers, giving them a fair price for the produce.
