On Saturday night sixth class pupils participated in the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland concert in the University of Limerick.
The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland is an award winning orchestra composed of more than 100 musicians from all over Ireland - North and South. It has performed all over the world since it was set up in 1995.
Forty-one pupils from sixth class were part of a choir of over eight hundred primary school pupils that performed with the Cross Border Orchestra on the night. The choir performed a medley of songs from the musical "Annie", a Disney medley and a pop medely along with the songs "Best Day of My Life", Heal the World", Ireland's Call" and "Together We Are One".
The pupils really enjoyed the orchestra's performance on the night which included an electrifying 90's medely, the theme from StarWars and an amazing performance of the Prince classic "Purple Rain".
