Conradh na Gaeilge Perpetual Trophy

Conradh na Gaeilge, Caiseal Mumhan, very generously donated a cheque to our school to help to promote Irish language activities during Seachtain na Gaeilge. With this cheque a perpetual trophy was purchased which was the coveted prize for the winners of a "Trath na gCeist" Table Quiz. 

Mixed teams from third to sixth eagerly (as Gaeilge) in this quiz, which was eventually won after a nail-biting tie breaker by Karen Bennett (6th Class), Aoibhe Gayson Molloy (5th Class), Gillian O'Dwyer (4th Class) and Rosalyn Horan (3rd Class). These girls will have the honour of being the first to have their names inscribed on this magnificent trophy. They were also presented with gold medals, while runners-up received silver medals.
