Class work Room 11 and other suggestions

Here is a list of the work to be completed by Mrs. Kealy's 5th & 6th class.

Each week pupils should complete the following; 

• 4 maths challenge tests
• 1 unit of Spellbound
• 1 science experiment and the questions with it
• work bundle for the week

Ongoing work to be completed over the two weeks;

• Write a letter and send it to an elderly relative or friend who is lonely at this time

100 Word Writing Challenge

Weekly creative writing challenge.  Each week a prompt is given, which can be a picture or a series of individual words and the children can use up to 100 words to write a creative piece. 

This week's prompt: 

… ‘I’m trying to hold on,’ he shouted …

Things to think about:

• Is this a physical situation?
• What is he holding onto?
• What will happen if he let’s go?
• He is shouting so is this dangerous?
