Sixth class pupils were invited to visit Boston Scientific in Clonmel, where they met with the various engineers who work in the factory. Each group of engineers from quality control to designers, set up a display stand where they explained the work done in their department of the factory. The girls really enjoyed the hands on activities and the opportunity to see how engineers and scientists work.
