Another win for our 6th class debating team.

Congratulations to the members of the sixth class debating team who overcame Fethard in the second round of the Primary Schools Debating Competition. 

The motion for the debate was "Homework is a waste of time" and the girls were opposing the motion. Everyone on the team put a lot of work into researching facts to support their argument and they were very convinvcing in their claim that homework is definately not a waste of time. 

The girls go forward to the next round of the competition which will take place in the new year.

Well done also to Mrs. Kennedy and Miss. Flanagan who helped the team to prepare for todays debate.
