6th Class Room 11 - It's your last Week in Primary School!!!
Hi girls,
We have made it to the end of the school year. If you told me in March that we could make it through 15 weeks of homeschooling I would have said that it was impossible. It hasn't been easy for me as a teacher or for you the students but we did it. It just goes to show what we are capable of doing when we have to! As Nelson Mandela said "It always seems impossible until it's done".
I want you all to give yourselves a big pat on the back for all your hard work throughout the year and especially during the past 14 weeks. I also think that your parents deserve a big well done for all the wonderful support they have given you, so don't forget to say "Thank You"!
Girls, I can't believe that it is your last week in primary school ever!!!
I know that you will leave us with so many wonderful memories of your eight years in our school and that you have made friends here that you will have for the rest of your lives. I hope that you will always look back on your time time in our school with fondness.
I know some of you since you started playing football in Third Class while others I only got to know this year. Goodbyes are never easy but in the words of Winnie the Poo "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard". You are a wonderful group of girls and I will really miss your cheerful faces and your enthusiasm around the school in September.
You will have so many wonderful experiences in Secondary School and I know that you are all going to achieve so much. But first, I hope that you have a wonderful Summer and that you enjoy a well deserved break from schoolbooks and homework.
Make sure that you go out with a bang - by taking part in Active Schools Week and sending your photographs to me!
Enjoy the week!
Mrs. Kealy
P.S. Keep an eye on the website over the next two weeks. I will be posting your work and hopefully I will also have your "Lockdown Photo Collage". Mrs. Andrews, Miss. Flanagan and I have a couple of surprises for you too.
