As part of celebrating and participating in Maths Week, 1st class with teachers Ms. Gaffney, Mrs. McGlinchey and Ms.O’Brien, went on a “Maths Eyes” walk on Tuesday morning 13th October. We found number, pattern, 2D and 3D shapes, money, time, speed, distance and symmetry. We counted, added, estimated and of course had time for some play in the playground! Have you got maths eyes?
